I am David Brody, a photographer from Atlanta. I enjoy shooting street scenes and people just going about their lives. I feel that the best way to capture humanity through photography is to find those moments that show the common features of all peoples. To me, this means everyday people doing everyday things. While the extremes of the world can make for dramatic photographs, I don't think they are as definitively human as those that emphasize our common bonds.

I spent a year working as a freelance photojournalist in Washington, DC and traveling around the U.S. on a documentary road trip which resulted in a book, "People Being People." I am now attending Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Mass.
